Mavericks Square Dance Club Fall Clothes Closet

The fall clothing sale sponsored by the MAVERICKS will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008 from 12 noon until 3 PM at Royer Park (Veterans Memorial Hall, 110 Park Drive) in Roseville. Anyone wishing to dispose of no longer wanted or needed square dance clothing is invited to participate in this sale. You name your price, and if it sells, you will receive 75% of the sale the MAVERICKS will retain 25%.

CHECK-OFF LIST

  1. Clothing must be clean and useable (no broken zippers).
  2. Include the itemized list in the packet with a brief description and size of each article and your selling price. Make a copy for yourself. We DO need your name and address with ZIP code on the list you submit with your clothing. The column headed paid is for our use only. Please leave it blank.
  3. Pin a paper I.D. tag included with the packet to each item. Each item to be put in the sale must have a tag on it. The item description on the list sheet MUST match the description on the tag for the garment. The item sheet is also in the packet please do not make up one of your own. If you have a question on this please contact me for clarification.
  4. Please do not staple tags to garments. We replace them with one of our own that identifies that item as belonging to you.
  5. Items for sale may be brought to Royer Park on Monday evenings between the hours of 7:30 to 8:30 P.M. starting January 14, 2008. Calling 991-7990 or 783-4964 can make special time arrangements. LAST DAY FOR ACCEPTING CLOTHES IS Wednesday September 3, 2008.
  6. Bring SQUARE DANCE ITEMS ONLY.
PLEASE NOTE NEW POLICY
  1. Items put in the sale will not be returned to the seller after the first sale they will remain in the sale but your asking price will be reduced by 1/3. Anything remaining after that time becomes the property of the MAVERICKS. This policy had to be adopted because of the time it takes to try and locate square dance clothes to be returned to the owner after a sale.
  2. The checks can be picked up at the Monday night workshops 1 week after the sale or they can be mailed to you. Two self addressed stamped envelopes are required unless you wish to pick up your check on the workshop nights.

Packets of forms and tags are available at Royer Park on the Bulletin Board. We will also send them to you if you cannot get to Royer to obtain them.
